Only two more days to go until slowdead and I go to Sweden to visit eagleeyes84! ♥!

I'm getting really excited now! xD! I haven't finished packing yet, b-but that's because I'm taking a lot of wrinkle!prone clothing... I've put everything on hangers for now. I want to minimize the time it'll all be squished inside my luggage, haha. (I predict eagleeyes84's iron is going to get a lot of use next week? Pfff!)

Hmm~! I always feel a little nervous before trips that involve flying... so I've been acting a little anti-social today? I have been hanging out with my sewing machine instead. ^^; I finally managed to do something nice with my awesome Little Red Riding Hood fabric from Japan! I made a new skirt using the lovely lace I bought in Rotterdam! *grin!*




This fabric is SO MUCH LOVE! ♥! I'm totally going to order it in brown as well, b-but for some reason I decided to go with blue first? *laughs!*



Here are the other fabrics I got in the same order! I love these as well~! They're just so gorgeous? I can't even... O.o;



Sort of finished~! It looks a bit squished, b-but it's nicer in person? I didn't drape it on Mannequin-chan very nicely because I was in a rush to get a picture uploaded. *HEADDESK!* (I'M REALLY HUNGRY, TOO! FDJKFJDLKFJKDL! NOT IN A PATIENT MOOD AT ALL?)

I haven't sewn on the lace yet - it's attached with bobby pins for now - because I think it'll look nicer with some white tulle underneath the natural coloured lace? IDK! I'm a bit torn? I think it'd make it easier to coordinate with white items...

I chose the natural!lace because I also want to wear red and brown cardigans with the skirt and I think it's a more neutral colour? The skirt ON ITS OWN looks weird with pure white lace, IMO. I know it'll work better with the cardigan I put on Mannequin-chan, b-but I can't ALWAYS wear that cardigan with it, right? So, yeah. That's why I'm so torn. xD!

I'm neglecting my memes a little, but I'll catch up on them soon! xD!

It's actually not that hard? I thought I'd never be able to make anything other than bows and pillow cases, b-but once you get started it's not that complicated. THANK GOD. *laughs!* It's only my second skirt, but the waist band is already a lot neater so I'm quite proud. :D :D :D
