I tried to only link fanfiction here that isn't on jetaimerai's list (although some have sneaked in! FKDJLFKJDKLGJ!) because I'd feel like too much of a copycat otherwise. ^^;

This one never fails to make me smile. One of the best Merlin fics out there, IMO. <3

This one is fantastic! xD! I love it! It has a sequel, too! (I have a weakness for nanny!Merlin fanfiction but this one is very well written and I am not being biased at all! Promise!)
☆ When All Is Said And Done byacetamide
Arthur is sent to observe the therioscopic department when a drug breakthrough seems imminent, only to find that one of his employees is hiding a startling number of secrets.
I'm a sucker for unlikely!AU fanfiction. ^^; Unfortunately, I read this one while I was in a spectacularly bad mood... it wasn't love at first sight - but I really do get the feeling I would've enjoyed it a lot better under different circumstances.
☆ Dear Idiot bymagog_83
Arthur is at last reborn but, when he is still a baby, he is left orphaned and alone in the world. Fortunately for him he always has Merlin - even if he doesn’t always know it.
☆ Soundtrack to the Apocalypse byphantomjam
The best thing you can have during the apocalypse is a healthy sense of irony. Or a decent car, infinite replenishing supplies and magical powers, but the irony helps.
THIS IS THE MOST EPIC FIC EVER. There is no fic out there that is more epic than this. *grin!*

Just your everyday Circus AU. Or: In which there are aerialists, decorative metal flowers, prejudices, artsy books and magic. Obviously.
I don't usually fall head over heels in love with a fic this quickly! I mean, there's only ONE CHAPTER out so far... *laughs!* Still, it's a Circus AU. How could I not fall madly in love with it? HUH?
☆ Easy There bysyllic
Arthur is an Oxford Blue. Merlin is an Oxford cox. Lancelot is Merlin's romantic-dalliance-loving friend. Morgana is horribly clever; Gwen is cleverly waiting for Lancelot to grow up. Merlin and Arthur rub each other the wrong way, at first, but it soon becomes clear that Arthur is a university-class rower with a world-class heart (yes, I typed that). Clichés ensue.
I don't think this fanfic is for everyone - seeing as you have to basically learn an entire Wikipedia article (... about rowing in Oxford! xD) by heart in order to really understand the details of the story. B-but, I refreshsyllic's LJ every. single. day. to see if the final chapter has been posted yet. I think it's worth it. Although I'm pretty sure I won't know what to do with myself once Easy There is finished. It may involve Happy Tears. IDK. O.o;
