I'm absolutely in love with Sterren op het Ijs! The first episode aired on Wednesday and I've been really looking forward to tonight's "Skate Off" ever since! xD My favourite show airing TWICE a week! FANTASTIC!

The official website has just been updated, too. It now has a sparkly new (and very much needed?) layout. xD I think another post on little_ribbon about it is definitely in order. ♥

This is Katerine Avgoustakis and Sacha Blanchet! Katerine is one of my favourites - probably because she looks like an older (and hotter!) version of me. I mean... I have the same hairstyle and wear a hand band like that really often? O.o *blink!*



Anneleen Liégeois with Gabor Balint... Not too interested in them, but I thought it was a cool picture. :)



Ronny Daelman and Rebbekah Breen. Nothing special about them either, but I love how happy Ronny looks with his Holiday On Ice skating champion. *g!*



Leen Demaré with Jonathan Toman! O.o I think Leen is one of the slightly more famous Flemings in this show... I prefer Q-Music to her radio station (4FM!), though. ;)



Dirk Tieleman and Emma Brien. Err. *blink!* Dirk is very old. Respect.



Daniëlla Somers with Dennis Bryan... Daniëlla is a boxing champion. ^^;



Greet Rouffaer and Trent Bond. <3 I'm a huge fan of Greet Rouffaer - the person, not the acrtice! She's just a fantastic woman... To be a figure skater is one of her dreams and I'm really happy it's coming true for her!



AND DEAN! ♥ Dean Delannoit with Imola Antal: I HOPE THEY WIN! Their picture is so incredibly stupid, but... Dean! <3

There's a few more pictures (I couldn't post them all, right? xD) here. I'm not a big fan of the jury or the hosts, so I don't want to have them on my LJ. *wink!* I also left out Davy Brocatus (one of the openly gay Belgians who is MARRIED - to a man, of course!) and his partner Molly Olson because they lost the Skate Off today.

In case anyone's curious I stole VTM's streaming video uploaded Tanja Dexter and Nicholas Keagan's kür to YouTube! I think their skating is the best out of all the couples so far... I uploaded Dean and Imola Antal's kür as well, but it isn't very good. :')

I also finally managed to go ice skating again today! xD I had nothing left to wear (that was warm enough?), so my outfit turned out rather odd... I did take aefallen's advice and wore a skirt this time - but strangely I felt more uncomfortable than in jeans. I think I was too worried I would fall again and not have anything to protect my legs? I did enjoy it more, though... It's just unfortunate that nylon is not as thick as jeans fabric. ^^;



I know pictures of little_ribbon on the ice is getting old now, but I really love these! I love them so much that I don't mind posting them publically, even. xD

ACTUALLY. I have the bigger versions here and here... Do you also notice something odd about them? chyama and iyo_chan both agreed that I look strangely Asian. Especially in the last one. WHAT IS UP WITH MY EYES OI?! O.o

Next time I'm on the ice I swear I'm going to be striking a fun pose! *laughs!*

I'd just be worried of falling without anything to protect the legs, like you said. :X
Especially if it was me, since I fall in very spectacular ways when skating. XD;;;;
Last time I went skating I had to be carried out of the ice and they started asking questions to know if I needed my head checked for a concussion or something, from so hard I had hit it on the ice. XD:;;;; *has a tendency to fall on head* XD;

As for me, my husband said he won't let me go skating again without a helmet. XD XD XD It's not the first time I fall on the ice on my head either, that might explain a lot about me. XD *rotfl

You could go ice skating and be very careful? xD I usually don't fall when I'm just doing rounds - it's when I try to do something more difficult that I fall down. A lot. ;)

Ice skating with aefallen made me too used to hold someone's hand, though. O.o It's so much easier to trust the ice when you know someone is there to try and stop you from falling. xD I get so scared on my own now!

All your talk of ice skating makes me want to ice skate! *laughs* But I know nothing about the local ice skating rinks. And the last time I went ice skating was in my freshman year of high school... I'm a college sophomore. That's like almost 6 years, LOL.

Awww! Google is your friend! xD It'd be really cool if you went ice skating, but sometimes I think oter people will not find it as much fun as I do... It is kind of dangerous and we both have our jobs to think about now! *g!*

D:! I said wear a skirt and wear leggings under! SIIIIIGH. The only thing worse than advice entirely disregarded is advice half-followed! BUT I HAVE A BETTER IDEA. YOU SHOULD GET A LYCRA BODYSUIT. Like Jessica Alba as Sue Storm/Mrs. Fantastic in the Fantastic Four!

I wish they had Stoffel's kür on the VTM website so I could share it with you! xD It was pretty good, but Tanja's was definitely the best and I thought it looked almost professional already. O.o

I don't own leggings! xD I saw really cute ones (with lace and strawberries on them!) in one of those stores near Dhoby Ghaut, but I forgot to go back and get them... It isn't cold enough yet for them to be sold here! SOON! ♥ *winter fashion addict!

I love how much Sasha loves Mia... ♥! You can really tell she cares a lot about that silly redhead kitty? xD It makes me so happy! I always had this image of figure skaters as aloof and cold, but if Sasha wants her kitty to sleep with her in the hotel room... AWWWWWWWWW! Thank you for sharing! It makes me love her even more! AND MIA TOO! :)
